With a background in both finance and entrepreneurship, Tim joined the impact investing team of Noaber Services in 2013. Here, he has been further developing his investment skills specifically in the healthcare technology area. In his current position as an investment manager, Tim is responsible for the management of a number of portfolio companies and for the identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities. His responsibilities included managing and monitoring investments in healthcare technology companies EarlySense and Neurotech, the Winbase exit and board positions at Vital Innovators and Sinzer.

While studying finance, Tim worked at Van Lanschot where he was involved in determining the organization’s strategic positioning, in product development, and in the implementation of a new credit rating system.

After graduating in 2009, Tim joined SNS Securities. He completed the investment banking traineeship at SNS Securities in one year, and followed this with a position advising institutional investors on their European equity investments. After more than three years in that job, he resigned to start his own company in online payment authentication. He has been running his own company for a year and a half. In June 2014, Tim obtained the Certified European Financial Analyst (postgraduate program) and won the award for best thesis for his analysis of ‘mutual relationships between high-dividend and low-volatility investment strategies’.
